Multi-Faceted Artist
Karen Nguyen is a visual artist, educator and writer who is also an award-winning entrepreneur founding Inspired Art Wine, an art studio wine bar and gallery in Costa Mesa, CA. After completing her Bachelors and MBA from University of California, Irvine, Karen led a successful career in hi-tech before venturing into entrepreneurship. A multi-passionate person by nature, Karen has created a series of companies centered on educating, entertaining and inspiring the community: Inspired Art Wine, Inspired Somm and Inspired Vineyards. Since 2016, her brand of companies has counted 35,000+ customers and 250+ corporate clients through her art and wine classes. Over the years, she has taught 20,000+ students at her studio across acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media.
Karen loves performing art live in crowds of all sizes and backgrounds. But she’s most happy and fulfilled when creating. Depending on the mood, energy and atmosphere during the creative process, each piece reflects the emotions she's feeling at the moment in time. Her style is about “going with the flow,” but creating visual balance inspired by ocean and outer space. Her paintings have exhibited at the Oculus at World Trade Center in NYC, Costa Mesa City Hall, John Wayne Airport, public/private corporations, homes and art exhibitions internationally.
